West Bend 41300 Dual-Blade Breadmaker Review

West Bend 41300

Price Range: $130-160

Rating: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆

As is the case with all our reviews, we visited the manufacturers’ site to get all the in-depth specs on the West Bend 41300 but were greeted with only a few lines on the unit’s features. This lack of information probably would have been a surprise if we hadn’t read numerous user reviews complaining of the same problem with the West Bend 41300’s user manual.

From all reports it’s a great unit but the lack of information and incorrect information in the user manual is a major concern. What good is a great bread maker if you don’t know how to use it?

For those of you willing to overlook this small problem the West Bend 41300 comes packed with some impressive features for the price, including dual kneading blades for more thorough kneading and a higher rise.

It also bakes loaves up to 2 ½ pounds which many other bread makers don’t allow for. It comes with 11 basic settings such as basic, quick, whole wheat, French, super rapid, sweet, dough, bake, jam and sandwich and Home made. The 41300 also comes with a removable pan for easy cleaning and a knead-blade removal tool .

I was very disappointed with this bread maker. Bread did not rise evenly. I had trouble with one of paddles freezing within 2 years of purchase (bearing is shot) and replacement pan seems to be out of stock on WestBend web site. Don’t buy this break maker. It’s not worth the trouble.
